How do I add a debit card?

To add a debit card, you'll need to view your Payment Methods within the Wallet section of your account.

  1. Tap New Card

  2. Enter your card details

  3. Hit Add Card once you're done

Your new payment card will be ready to use.

You can only have one active payment method at a time. To add a new debit card, your balance needs to be below £1 (99p or less) and you can’t have any pending withdrawals.


How do I add my bank account?

To add a bank account, you'll need to view your Payment Methods within the Wallet section of your account.

  1. Tap New bank account

  2. Enter a deposit amount

  3. Choose your bank

  4. Complete the verification using your bank's security checks

Once verified, your bank account will be set as your active payment method.

You can only have one active payment method at a time. To add a new bank account, your balance needs to be below £1 (99p or less) and you can’t have any pending withdrawals.


How do I add my PayPal?

To add your PayPal, head to your Wallet and link it in a few quick steps.

  1. View your Payment Methods in the Wallet section of your account.

  2. Click the ‘+’ in the PayPal section.

  3. Follow the prompts to securely link your PayPal to MrQ.

You can only add your PayPal if you don’t currently have an active payment method, or if your balance is below £1 and there are no pending withdrawals.


How many payment methods can I add?

You can have up to 8 payment methods saved on your MrQ account.

That includes:

  • Apple Pay

  • Up to 3 payment cards

  • 1 PayPal account

  • Up to 3 bank accounts

You can only have one active payment method at a time for deposits and withdrawals.

To switch your active payment method, your balance must be below £1 and you can’t have any pending withdrawals. If either of those apply, you won’t be able to change it just yet.

You can view your payment methods here, the active one will be marked as Primary.


How do I change my primary payment method?

To change your primary payment method or add a new one, a few conditions need to be met.

You can only switch your primary payment method if:

  • You don’t currently have an active payment method

  • Your only registered method is a mobile phone number

  • Your balance is below £1 and there are no pending withdrawals

If you’ve got more than £1 in your balance or a withdrawal in progress, you won’t be able to change your primary payment method until that’s sorted.

You can register up to 8 payment methods on your account.


What happens if my card has expired?

If your card has expired, you can add a new card in the Wallet or Payment Methods section of your account.

You can only update your payment method if your balance is below £1 and there are no pending withdrawals.

If you have a withdrawal in progress or are struggling to request a withdrawal, contact us and we’ll help update your payment method.


Can I remove a payment method from my account?

Yes, you can remove a payment method, but you must have at least one other active payment method on your account.

You won’t be able to change your primary payment method if you have a balance of £1 or more, or a pending withdrawal on your account.
