First things first
Double check the details you entered when registering. If you spot something wrong, we’ll need documents from you to update your account — you can find out how to do that here.
Everything looks correct?
Sometimes we can’t verify you automatically because the information available to us is a little out of date — for example, if you’ve recently moved or changed your name (through marriage or deed poll).
What happens next
When this happens, you’ll be shown the options available to complete your verification.

ClearStake (Open Banking) – Skip the queue and verify within minutes
In some cases, you may see the option to use ClearStake. It uses Open Banking to securely share the personal details held by your bank with us, letting you bypass the manual queue and get verified in minutes.ClearStake is powered by Nuapay, an Authorised Payment Institution registered with the FCA (#624067). It’s a safe and secure process used by millions of people in the UK.
If offered, your bank will ask you to log in to online banking to confirm your identity, then confirm you’re happy to share the information with ClearStake. On mobile, you can go straight into your banking app to do this.

Upload your documents
This option is always available. Upload proof of ID and address (a driving licence is usually the quickest) and our verification team will review it manually. You can upload your documents here.
