We want to keep checks to a minimum, but ultimately we are legally obliged to ensure that our players are staking at levels they can afford, with money from a legitimate source. This is to comply both with affordability requirements and anti-money laundering legislation. Traditionally this has been done the old-fashioned, manual way (and you can still do that if you want) - this just makes things a lot easier.
