What is a Spend Limit?
A Spend Limit helps you control how much you can deposit in a set period (daily, weekly, or monthly). It also takes withdrawals into account, so if you take money out, you can put the same amount back in.
Example: You set a £10 daily limit and deposit £10. If you then withdraw £20, you’ll have another £20 available to deposit that same day.
How to set a Spend Limit
- Go to the Limits section in your account
- Choose a daily, weekly, or monthly limit
- You can adjust or remove them at any time
If you want to decrease your limit, it kicks in straight away. If you want to increase or remove it, there’s a 24-hour cooling-off period; future you might thank you for that pause.
When do limits refresh?
- Daily: resets at midnight
- Weekly: runs Monday → Sunday
- Monthly: follows the calendar month
⚠️ During British Summer Time (BST), daily resets happen at 1am. If you have more than one limit set, or we’ve set one for you, the lowest value always applies.
